In-School Small Group Mentoring
Tautai LEAD is our flagship in-school mentoring program that has been in operation since 2013 and is being delivered in New Zealand and Australia. Tautai LEAD supports the engagement of Pasifika young people in schools by enhancing their holistic wellbeing through culture.
Tautai LEAD is made of 3 Phases mentoring program that strengthens young peoples connection to culture, identity, purpose and community. Each phase is 10 weeks and is underpinned by our programs framework Know, Grow and Sow. Phase 1 is KNOW focusing on Culture and Identity, Phase 2 is GROW with a focus on Culture and Careers and SOW has a focus on Culture and Community.
Each 10 week phase is a set curriculum with objectives that fosters authentic exploration of ones identity, purpose and values and creates meaningful talanoa (conversations) that supports self-expression.
Overall the program aims to Enhance ones Holistic Wellbeing by: Strengthening cultural identity and awareness, Fostering strong healthy relationships, Enhancing self-awareness, Enhancing self-confidence, Increase resilience and Enhancing interpersonal communication skills.
